Grandpa Azadan came to see you girls. He had plan for all of us to have a weekend away with him. We where able to find a place in Gulf Shores at a place called the Beach Club. We had a great time, the weather was perfect and you guys really enjoyed the beach and the pool.

Gunner Eye Surgery July 23rd
Our puppy had eye surgery, we had to get his left eye removed. He had so many issues do to a cataract surgery done back in 2005. In this surgery Gunner's retina got detached and consequently lost his sight. Every year after this, the ophtamolo at the LSU small animal clinic had checked him for any signs of glaucoma or any other issues. But even thought not major problems had occurred he always recommended for his eye to be taken out. Daddy and I didn't want to put Gunner trough the surgery and try to control the inflammation with prednison eye drops. Finally this year his eye started to look reader and reader it was time to remove his eye. It was a hard decision for me, for some reason I thought he could see something out of that eye, but the reality was that he was probably in some pain. Now that the surgery took place and he is completely healed I am glad we did it. He looks really good. You girls were so good and gentle with him it even work out that Ama had invited us to the Kanakuk Family camp the following week so he had some alone time with dad to recuperate with out any kids around. Gunner is doing fantastic!
