Pumpink Patch and Boo Boo at the Zoo and other Pictures

The weather is getting better and better here in Louisiana, so we decided to do the do several things this week. First on Tuesday we went to a Pumping Patch here in Baton Rouge and today we did Boo at the Zoo. Alexandra absolutely adores her "best friend" Samia (how can you not she is such a nice girl), so our families met at the zoo. Alexandra and Samia like to hold hands, give each other hugs and scream with each other!! to cute to watch.

Cute Toddlers...

Those of you who have kids and remember the toddler years or are living this understand that disciplining a toddler is hard because sometime it seems as they just don't understand what you are saying or doing. Well with Alexandra now I know that she understands. Thursday in music class, Alexandra pusher her friend Grady. I put her in time out and explained to her firmly that we don't push and that she needed to be in time out. Later that evening at dinner time I started to tell dad what happen and proceeded to ask her to tell her dad why she was placed in TO not really thinking that she would know what to say, but to my surprised she said

A: I went time out and push and time out

Me: who did you push

Alex: I push Grady and time out, no no we don't push

Amazing! Alexandra not only remembered what had happened that morning but she also understood why she had to go on TO, in summary NEVER UNDERESTIMATE your toddler!!
