First Day of School

I cannot tell you girls how excited you were on your first day of school. Your new school is Cross Point Baptist, everyone we know that goes there absolutely loves it. The waiting list for this school is about a year out. I had signed up Alexandra over a year ago with no luck, the spot that they had available was with what the call the "younger twos" and Alexandra would have been a bit too old for the group back then. Then Samantha got on the list, they called us at the earlier part of the year that she was in! because siblings then get priority they informed me that most likely a spot would open up for Alexandra, interesting how things got reversed. Back in July finally they called me to tell me that they had a spot for Alexandra. Alexandra had been signed up with her previous school called Bussy Bunch. Bussy Bunch was very nice, however the times where not the best for me as we have to drive at least 15 min for almost anything! Bussy Bunch times where from 9:00 am till 12:00. Cross Point is from 9:00 until 1:30. It would have been difficulty to drop them off around the same time and then kill some time until 1:30 when it was time to pick up Samantha. Needless to say when Alexandra's spot open up I was trilled. Another great thing about this school in that they have worship time every morning, they do the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag and the Christian Flag. They also have schedule time for music and Art. This school follows whats called the A Beka program. The girls had the first full week last week and they still loving it. Specially Samantha, this is your first time in school ever and you really like it. I asked your teacher how you where doing and she said you where a joy, and you know what? I agree! You both are a blessing to us and those around you.

Ama went with us to drop you off on your first day. We also painted your room Pink while you guys where in school. You loved the color and so did we. Thanks Ama!
